Overview
Kopul’s VOL-MATE-P is a passive volume controller for 1/4-inch devices. A stepless volume knob precisely attenuates volume in virtually any project or pro studio setup. It adds the convenience of adjusting volume without accessing audio interface, amplifier, or stereo controls. The passive design won’t alter or color the audio signal, so you’ll hear exactly what’s coming from your source device. Once you set your device’s or instrument’s volume to the optimum level, use the VOL-MATE-P to adjust or mute the audio. Rubber feet make this volume controller a handy desktop and workstation accessory that won’t slip, even on a highly polished surface. Compact, lightweight, and sturdy steel construction make the VOL-MATE series road-ready and dependable.
Features
Passive Volume Control
Since the VOL-MATE-P doesn’t require power, there’s no circuitry that will alter or color your audio signal, and the sound your device outputs is exactly the sound you’ll hear. Use it to control or mute the volume in headphones and guitar and keyboard amps.
1/4-Inch Inputs and Outputs
The VOL-MATE-P handles balanced and unbalanced signals, and outputs the signal it receives. For mono signals like a guitar, the VOL-MATE-P outputs the mono signal to an amp or mixer. Stereo signals from a computer or keyboard will be output as a stereo signal to headphones, an interface, or mixer. The VOL-MATE-P can also stand in as an effects return in a live setup when you don’t have a dedicated fader on the soundboard.
Compact and Rugged
The VOL-MATE-P is small enough to slip into your pocket. Whether you transport it in a gear bag, guitar case, or even your coat pocket, the steel chassis can withstand the bumps and bangs of travel. But it also features nonslip rubber feet to conveniently sit on your desktop or DAW, so it’s always handy.
