The MC-USB was made for people who like to listen to music while they work. It controls playback volume whether you’re listening through the internal speakers or headphones. It also provides you with a full array of playback controls in its own unobtrusive onscreen display. Play, stop, pause, skip forward, and skip back options give total control over your streaming service or audio library without switching screens or apps. The push-button function mutes the audio when you need to take a phone call or have a conversation.

Turning the volume knob puts an unobtrusive display in the upper left corner of your screen. The playback controls let you play, pause, and skip forward and back by clicking on the controls in the display. Use the onscreen display to control playback without switching away from the screen or app you’re working in. Once you select the track and adjust the volume, the control display disappears after four seconds.

The controller features a subtle ring light you can illuminate for using the controller in dim lighting. You’ll always know where your volume controller is, even in the dark.
