Overview
Watson’s SmartPower high-capacity battery combines functionality with 293 Wh of power. Use it to power pro cameras, monitors, and LED lights that draw up to 15 amps. The V-mount plate and four D-tap outputs will run set-essential gear like LED lights and monitors. USB-C and USB-A outputs will let you charge cell phones, tablets, and wireless receivers and transmitters, without interrupting your workflow. When it’s time to recharge, do it via the V-mount or USB-C port. Designed for pros at work, the VM-293-SP SmartPower battery earns its name for its backlit LCD screen that displays precise battery status. You’ll always know exactly how much run time or charge time is left, so you can recharge or swap batteries without interrupting your workflow. The screen also lets you monitor operating temperature as well as load and charging current.

Power to Spare
This battery fits into most standard V-mount plates, and it will power any camera, light, or monitor that draws up to 15 amps. The 293 Wh capacity gives you power to spare to run your gear until the job is done.
D-tap Connector
The battery is outfitted with four D-tap ports to power gear like monitors, cameras, or lights. You won’t need to add extra batteries or power cables to your setup to run your accessories. With four D-tap ports, you can power an entire camera rig with lights, microphones, and a monitor from a single battery.
Multiple USB Connections
Smartphones and laptop batteries don’t always last through lengthy shoots. The integrated USB-A and USB-C ports let you power and charge USB devices like laptops and smartphones while you shoot, so you can be in touch and check your messages and email throughout the day. Use the USB ports to recharge wireless transmitters and receivers to avoid delays and down time.
USB Type-C
Use the input/output USB-C port to recharge the battery as well as charge other devices. The USB-C port provides up to 63 W of output to charge power-hungry devices quickly and efficiently.
Advanced LCD Display
To prevent unexpected surprises that could interrupt your workflow, being aware of your battery’s status is a must. The LCD screen shows remaining battery capacity and remaining charge time. It also displays the battery’s operating temperature and current draw so you can always operate within safe parameters.
Charging Options
The VM-293-SP can recharge via a V-mount charger or the USB-C port. With these charging options, you can charge one battery while another battery is in use, so you’ll never run out of power during an extended session.
